Making the Gospel of Jesus Christ plainly understood is Jonathan Hewett's passion. For 11 years, Jonathan has traveled and preached throughout the US and around the world. Based in north Texas, Jonathan travels 30-35 weeks a year speaking to church groups, students and families, challenging people to evaluate their lives based on Scripture. More and more, Jonathan is discovering the power of the church in other parts of the world, like South Africa, Togo-W. Africa, China, Peru and Brazil, and is hoping to see that power reborn in the church in America.
During his presentations, Jonathan uses multimedia images, sounds and videos to enhance the sermon, leaving lasting impressions in listeners. Jonathan writes his own youth camp and DiscipleNow material, incorporating multimedia and student materials and focusing on worldview issues. Preaching revivals in more than 200 churches has given him experience in local church work issues and a heart for refocusing churches on their mission.
Jonathan Hewett has been in ministry since he was 19. Before he began travelling full-time, Jonathan served as a local church youth minister, leading many teenagers to faith in Christ by personal witness and public teaching. His wife is Ellyn, a junior-high school history teacher, and his children are Catherine, Josh and Lindsey. |
